Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

The Antichrist, the man of sin revealed!

The man of lawlessness (2 Thes. 2:5), 'Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? And now you know what is holding him back so that the Antichrist, the man of sin may be revealed at the proper time'.
(V. 3) “Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of sin (the Antichrist) is revealed”.
Antichrist means against Jesus Christ and also in place of Jesus Christ.
The letters to the Thessalonians were written by Paul in (A.D. 51) and at that time the Antichrist, the man of sin had not been revealed, but they (the Apostles) expected him to appear on the world scene at any time shortly.

Jesus Christ is the only true God (1 John 5:20) of all creation and the only Father of His children the born again believers (John 3:3).

(V.4) The ANTICHRIST will oppose the truth and every teaching of the Lord (the Word of God).
“He will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple proclaiming himself to be God” (Isa. 14:13-14), that will be in accordance with the work of Satan.

The Rebellion are all those who refuse to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, but separated themselves and established their own Church, a state approved and organised Church.
By the coronation of the first 'POPE' of Rome (Lynus A.D. 67-76) the ANTICHRIST was revealed, the Vicar of Christ, His Holiness the HOLY FATHER the Pope, (a title forbidden in Scripture (Matthew 23:9+10).
In the disguise of Christianity the man of sin the Pope of Rome has set himself up as the head of the Church and has taken the title of God for himself, “THE---HOLY---FATHER” and so exalting himself to be God (Isa.14:13-14).
(1 John 2:18) “Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many Antichrists have come”, just as there have been many Popes to this very day.
The spirit of the Pope is the spirit of the Antichrist (1 John 4:3) “which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world”.
Every teaching (doctrine) and practice of the Pope and his Church (the Antichrist Church) is contrary to the Scriptures.
In the book of Revelation (Revelation 17:5) the Pope and his Church is called “THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES and the abominations of the earth”, (V.6) who got drunk with the blood of the saints whom she murdered throughout the centuries and also all her daughter-Churches who have imitated her murderous acts.
The Catholic Church  is called the Mother of Prostitutes because she gave birth to all other Churches who teach her doctrines and imitate her Church-practices and traditions.

All of her Church-practices and her doctrines are not Scriptural.
Church and state approved clergies, designated church buildings called Church, religious hierarchy of leaders and professional Church-leaders and laity, counselling offices, church-membership, signing a covenant, religious clothing (robes ect.), pew and pulpits, congregation and designated ministers with titles like Father, Vicar, Bishop, Reverend, Pastor and any other title there is, which is contrary to Scriptures (Mat. 23:9+10).
Above all, the doctrine of the TRINITY is the banner of the Mother-harlot Church and all of her daughter Churches who have engaged in spiritual harlotry to have three god- persons whom they worship. Because they do not have the love of the truth, therefore the Lord gave them over to believe that Satanic lie (2 Thes.2:11).
The call of the Lord Jesus Christ is to all those who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, COME--- OUT--- OF---HER---MY---PEOPLE! So that you will not share in her sin, so that you will not receive any of her plagues (Revelation 18:4), for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her (v.8).

1 John 5:4-13 EXPLAINED: "three that bear record in heaven"

here is the link to my video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vw_hqNCGNFs

these three are one and the same my friend...there is only one Spirit of God the Father and the Spirit is indeed the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ. All trinitarians are not saved because they would have to first acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Lord God and call upon him for mercy.

To God be the glory

"I'm not sure that all trinitarians are not saved many Baptist's hold the view that Jesus is the father"

Ask if Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit.

" for instance I believe in ethereal salvation of those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ but I don't believe in eternal security"

God knows them that trust in him. The just shall LIVE by faith, those who are saved should be fully trusting God, for he is faithful that promised.

"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him."

"I'm not sure that all trinitarians are not saved many Baptist's hold the view that Jesus is the father but they still use the word Trinity"

Most don't understand that the jews in the book of acts were not even given the Holy Ghost(saved) until they were baptized in the one NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in other words they had to fully acknowledge Jesus Christ is LORD GOD and obviously the name they were baptized in was the name of the Lord Jesus.

I can also prove by the scriptures that Jesus Christ is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. there is only One Spirit of God and that Spirit is indeed the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bornagain Soldier;
I'm glad that you don't believe the Trinity doctrine, as you know there are only few among the Christians who haven't fallen for that satanic doctrine the Trinity.
Everybody who stands against the Trinity certainly will experience opposition and persecution, but keep up the good fight as a soldier of the Lord.
I can see that you have a good God given discernment of spiritual things.
I know that you believe that Jesus is the Father, and you have made that clear.
What do you mean by, "these three are One"? "Three" what? "One" what?

I would answer that question like that; Three TITLES and DESCRIPTIONS, and One PERSON Jesus Christ our Lord and God, in other words, these three titles Father, Son and Holy Spirit belong to Jesus Christ alone.
Thanks for your comment.

Also thanks for your contribution and the video link.
I think that you are doing a great job defending the truth and exposing the error of the Trinity and other false doctrines which are held by so many well meaning Christians.

It's encouraging to know that there are other men of God like you and Bornagain Soldier who strongly stand against this most destructive and devilish doctrine the Trinity which originated with the Antichrist Church, the Catholic Church and has derailed many Christians throughout the centuries.
I like your comments

Bornagain Soldier;
Yes brother I know that you fully understand all those things, because the same Spirit which is in you and in me and in all those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ teaches us all things and leads us into all the truth.

The name 'Puritan Belief' refers to the Lord Jesus Christ, because He is the only true Puritan who stayed true to the doctrines of the Scriptures, and not all of the so called "Puritans" teach the purity of the Scriptures, one of them is the Trinity as you know.

Many brothers call me a Calvinist, although I'm not, but because I believe and understand the doctrine of predestination also called the sovereignty of God I have inherited the label 'Calvinist'.

The doctrine of predestination is a great doctrine where the Lord Jesus is exalted as the sovereign savior of His children. If you not already know it, then it's worthwhile to look into it and let no one hinder you to do so.

You are spot on to call those who give themselves titles like pastors are 'hirelings'.
Interesting, in the Bible not one is called or addressed as pastor or any other titles, but today's career-pastors and clergies are eager to distinguish themselves above the brethren with titles, diplomas and degrees. Their disobedience is clearly seen and heard and it seems to me they have this uncrucified lust for money, power and self-importance, just like the man of sin who highly exalts himself above his church (Isa. 14:13-14 second picture from top of the post).
Kind regards

Yes brother I know what you are saying, sometimes those debates get very heated and personal and I'm sure that I have been guilty of that.
I love all my brothers in Christ regardless of their denominational affiliation, doctrinal understanding or lack of.

For the sake of 'offence' it is easier to be silent, but for the sake of truth we must engage in the battle to separate the error from the truth as good Soldiers of Christ Jesus our Lord and God.

We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities in heavenly places (in spiritual realms), but sometimes the flesh gets in the way, and it is the flesh that gets hurt, and if we are hurting too much, that shows that we are not yet mature enough but babes in Christ.:-)

Well brother, how can I "unblinded" study the Word of God when I have a big plank in my eyes? I tell you it makes it impossible to see.

I was aware of the plank in my eyes, so I called on the Lord Jesus to remove that plank, so that I can see clearly to remove the little splinter from my brothers eyes.

If there are two opposing views on one topic, both can not be right. One will be right the other wrong and the Lord and His Word and reason will be the judge. If both views are similar, then there is a good opportunity to expand the borders of our understanding.
We who are in Christ can not lose, only gain.

I have read your posts twice and heard the video clips, but I was hesitant to leave a comment because it is a subject open for speculation.
Everybody likes to know from where the 'Nephillim (Giants), the sons of God and the daughters of men come from and how they relate (Gen.6:2-4).
So far I haven't heard or read a better explanation than my interpretation, If anyone has a better one, I will gladly change and accept a better one, remember I can only gain.

(Gen.6:2-4) I think that no one can satisfactory understand that statement of the Scripture, unless they understand the fall of man, the original sin or the sin of Eve, and also the 'Natures' of Gods Creation.
To shorten my comment please read two short posts, the original sin and on the same page on top of the right column click 'The nature of God'.
The diagram on the post shows the two lines of Adams sons to the left and Cain' s sons to the right, that is the knowledge of the righteous line of Adam and the evil line of Cain in the family tree of life.
Through the sin of Eve the 'DNA' of the beast (the Serpent) has been mingled with the 'DNA' of men (Eve) who was created in Gods image. The mingling of 'DNA' has produced all different races, colours and even the 'Giants' in (Gen.6:4).
The sons of God are Adam (Luke 3:37) through Seth, Enosh and right up to (Gen.6:2) where the sons of God saw that the daughters of Cain or of men were beautiful and they bore children by the them, who became the men of renown (Gen.6:4).
If you like, I will also post this comment to your blog and you can chose to replay wherever you like and whenever you like.

Well brother, I'm not as fast as you are, I'm still reading your link on the 'Bible translations' or versions as you call them, and I only have a restricted time to post, hopefully every day. I wish I could be on the blog all day:-)

Concerning Bible translations;
Some brothers believe that the KJV is the only true Word of God, others the NASB and still others the HCSB and so on.
I worked through that problem a long time ago and I think that a man of God ought to be equipped to handle any translation of the Bible.
A bad tradesman blames his tools and a bad soldier blames his sword, but the soldiers of the Lord who were forged in the heat of the battle have learned to handle the sword of the spirit the Word of God accurately, since the Bible is not Greek, Hebrew or Aramaic but Spirit and Truth.

Gen. 6:15 is talking about building an Ark, I think you mean (Gen.3:15).
No brother, it is impossible for the beast the serpent to have spiritual seed or children, likewise is it impossible for Eve to have a spiritual seed, children or reproduction. Eve and the Serpent had DNA children of the flesh just as the Bible said and that is the original sin, her first born son Cane was of the evil one (1John 3:12) his father the devil (John 8:44) who was a murderer from the beginning (Gen. 4:8) and murdered his brother Able the son of Adam who came through Eve, and so Eve became the mother of all living (Gen. 3:20).
Adams son Abel who looked like Adam was murdered and after that Adam wanted another son in his likeness with his DNA and begot Seth (Gen. 5:3) who was the righteous line in the family tree.
Also note, Eves punishment for her sin was in the child bearing, because she introduced the nature of the beast into the sinless nature of man who was created in the image of God.

Perhaps that might give you a deeper understanding for what the Lord Jesus had to suffer on the cross.
Also, Jesus laid down His life only for the sheep (John 10:11+15), for His DNA children through Adam and not for the children of the Serpent the devil through Cane and his children (limited atonement).

The Calvinists and the Arminianists could never see or understand that, in fact no one can unless the Lord Jesus opens ones eyes and gives them revelation knowledge.

The Bible is talking about a spiritual battle and also a natural battle. We who are in Christ battle in the Spirit because we are born again, but the children of the flesh (the devil, Canes line) battle in the flesh, starting with Cane to this very day.

The Catholic Church and her daughter Churches are the natural Churches of the flesh and the devil, and the born again believers is the spiritual Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The DNA was mingled before the flood, so then the seed DNA of the of the Serpent was in all of them on the Ark and after spread to all men. Remember that the Lord Jesus knows His own from the beginning to the end, and we know them after the sons of God are revealed (born again). He also knows the sons of the devil (John 8:44), those He will not save.

Noah was called a righteous man because it was the same righteousness which was accredited to us, the righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord and God.
Even we as the children of God know that when we look inside of us, we can see the struggle of two natures in us, the nature of Adam and the nature of the Serpent, Paul said it like that, the things I want to do, I do not do and the things I don't want to do, I do; wretched man that I am, who can deliver my from this body of sin and death, but thanks be to Jesus Christ etc. That is the battle between the flesh and the Spirit in us.
Enough for now!
Paul

Freemasons are a secret society, so I have been told, and because they are secret, I'm not interested what they believe.

The man of God must know the Lord Jesus personally and then he surely will know His written Word also. And no man can know the Lord Jesus by reading a book about Him, just as no one can know the Queen of England by reading a book about her.
My background is Roman Catholic and also new age, and the Lord Jesus saved me out of that bondage. Praise be to His wonderful Name!

I don't have any affiliation to any denomination, except with everyone who truly loves my Lord and God Jesus Christ.

Brother, you should be slow to judge and quick in listen what the Spirit is saying to you.

1 Timothy 3:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

16 By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was revealed in the flesh,
Was [a]vindicated [b]in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Proclaimed among the nations,
Believed on in the world,
Taken up in glory.

1 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

here is just one example among MANY not to use nasv.

I do NOT recommend any other version of the bible in english but the KJB. I get a good understanding of the text by studying Paul and comparing scripture with scripture.

2 Samuel 21:19-21 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

"19 There was war with the Philistines again at Gob, and Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite [a]killed [b]Goliath the Gittite"

"Jaare-oregim the Bethlehemite [a]killed [b]Goliath the Gittite"

Thanks for pointing out the error or misprint in the NASB, I also noticed that a few years ago and have put a mark above and a link to 1Chronicals 20:5.
Also check that in 1 Corinthians 7:36 (daughters) and there are many more.
Yes brother "it is written" but it doesn't say it is written in the King James version only, since all Scripture is suitable for teaching, for correction in doctrine and conduct.

Thanks Brenda for you comment.
I appreciate when you speak your mind.
All of us who believe in the Lord Jesus read the same words and text, and it is absolutely nothing wrong or incorrect in the Scriptures, because it is the infallible Word of God.
The problem happens in our understanding and interpretation of the text, and it is there where we need to correct it, and that can only be done by the Holy Spirit living in us.

Your quote; "not my will be done, but your will be done".

Please pause for a moment!

Are you saying that there are two wills of God?
Are you saying that there are two gods and each one has his own will? Remember that the Scriptures can't be broken.

Brenda, I know that you are a born again believer of Jesus Christ our Lord, so then the problem is in your understanding or lack of. You must have received a false teaching before or after you became a Christian and you need to deal with that, or it will undermine your faith and trust in Jesus Christ our Lord and God.

Your second Bible-quote is alike; "my God why have you forsaken me".

Are you thinking and saying that one gods has forsaken the other god? Or perhaps that the big God whom you call the Father would have forsaken the little God whom you call the Son?
No, no Brenda, I think that you are a lot smarter than that, and you know that it doesn't make sense to you at this moment.
Lots of love

No Paul,
I am genuinely trying to ask you if you believe that those words were spoken by Jesus or if you don't, and if you do then what would you say that Jesus was saying, and to whom. I am not trying to catch you out or anything like that, I am trying to understand what you are implying here. I have had no teaching from man, the Lord told me a long time ago to only eat unleavened bread, and I totally agree with you on titles worn by various people. Paul was an apostle and only ever signed his letters 'Paul'. I am well aware that man has his 'substitutes', that we are God's Israel, the 'church' as in 'congregation' or 'assembly'. There is a warning to us in Hosea ch8 v. 4, about not making kings and princes of our own choosing. The scriptures can be discerned spiritually and just as happened in physical Israel, so too is capable of happening in spiritual Israel. So I just want to know what you think Jesus is saying in those two verses you quote in your post.

Yes Brenda, we both know that those words are spoken by Jesus.

Because they are not mentioned in my post, I accepted your comment as you are challenging me with those verses, by implying that there must be another God somewhere for Jesus to say that.
In return I was asking you to give me an explanation to those verses so that I know that you understand them.
For years I have been posting against the idea or assumption that God would be duality or a Trinity of persons.
Because you're not volunteering to explain, so then, I will.

(Mark 15:34) Jesus said, "my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me"?
It was the Lord God the Almighty who was hanging on the cross, therefore He could not call on any other because Jesus alone is God.
It is the Lord Jesus who is the Spirit (2 Cor. 3:17) and the Spirit is God (John 4:24) who clothed Himself in flesh, and became a man just like one of us to fulfill all that what was prophesied about Him.
The Lord Jesus spoke metaphorical (John 16:25) from the position of a man to God the Spirit which is in Him.
Just the same as in (Jeremiah 22:5) when God swore by Himself, because no greater one could be found.

Because the Lord Jesus is the only one true God and there is no other, He spoke those words not for His sake but for yours, mine and all of us who are in Christ. We were crucified with Christ (Gal. 2:20), in other words we all were hanging on the cross in Christ uttering those words in desperation 'my God, my God (meaning Jesus), why don't you rescue me from this body of sin and death, I think you know the rest.

(Luke 22:42) "nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done."
First you must eliminate or isolate that which it does NOT mean, or can NOT mean. Simply, it can NOT mean that there is a dialogue between two Gods, and that there are two wills of two Gods or persons.

Again Luke 22:42 is metaphorical.
Jesus doesn't need to pray. Only sinners need to pray and Jesus is certainly not sinner.
Jesus Christ is the perfect man, the second perfect man in the likeness of Adam, called the second Adam.
Every man must have a creator God and that God is Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ as a man must also have a God, but that God is Himself or the Spirit within Him (John 4:24), because there is no other (Isa.43:10).
Jesus, as a man prayed to His Spirit who is God (John 4:24) just as you and I and all who are born again pray to God, that is to Jesus Christ who has made His abode in us.
Brenda; that is a short explanation and I hope that it will help.
Paul

Sorry Paul,
those two verses weren't in your post, they were in something I was reading where you were answering a comment, I right clicked and copied, and I can't think where from. It was after I had come onto your blog today, to see what you have posted, it must be on something you have written that i was reading. No, I don't believe that there are three 'persons', the word 'trinity' is not in the Bible. I do believe that, according to our maturity in Christ, we are all enlightened by various scriptures. I believe that God, (Yahweh), is Spirit and was the Spirit that was in Jesus Christ(Yahweh saves), which was exactly the purpose for which Jesus Christ was on Earth in the form of man, and the Holy Spirit that teaches us. They are one and the same Spirit, but the fleshly body of Jesus, formed in a woman's womb by the Holy Spirit, was on the Earth at a specific time for a specific time. That is all I need to know, knowledge is revealed as I continue to have my mind renewed in Him, and it is a revealed knowledge that is foolishness to the human mind. Each believer will be taught by the Holy Spirit as they seek the truth.
God bless

Thanks Brenda, I agree with most things you are saying. I know that you are a spiritual woman born of the Holy Spirit, but there still is a little splinter so to speak which troubles me.

You said, "Yahweh saves".
That really troubles me, the Bible does not say that 'Yahweh saves', the Scripture is clear on that, only Jesus saves, and there is no other name given under heaven and on earth whereby we must be saved.

Brenda, it really troubles me when Christians introduce another name in things relating to God.
I personally know with certainty that any other name is the name NOT the Name of God, since Gods Name always is Jesus and He never ever had another Name.
Well! I ought to know, because He is my Father who is in heaven and Holy is His Name.

Yes Paul,
I do agree that Jesus is the only name that can save mankind, as Acts ch.4 v.12 says 'And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name(under heaven) that has (been given among men) by which we must be saved. In Philippians ch.2 v.9 we are told that He was 'in very nature God' and in v.9 we are told that 'God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name'. Psalm 138 v.2 says about God 'Thou hast exalted Thy Word above all Thy name'. Jesus is the Word of God and the divine forgiveness in Him is the only thing that can bring us from under the curse. We cannot approach God or become sons of God except through Jesus' crucifixion and the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible itself tells us that Jesus is a mediator as in 1 Timothy ch.2 v.5 'For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,' Once born again into the body of Christ we become part of that body with Jesus as the head. We, together, can become God's children in Jesus, spiritual. Just like the nation of Israel was formed from one man (Jacob), and God called the whole nation His son, we the church are God's spiritual Israel and are in His Son Jesus while believers on this Earth. Jesus is called 'Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace' because that is exactly what He is to us. God is a Spirit and what was inside Jesus was exactly that, God's Spirit. As long as we are born of God's Holy Spirit, in Christ Jesus and having our minds renewed in Him then we shall be safe as long as we listen and obey, then we shall all be one with the Father eternally. Praise His lovely name

I think it is a case sometimes Paul of not fully understanding a person until we get to know them a little better. I'm sure we both have many testimonies that would explain what each believes. The main thing with all who believe is that they are born again of God's Holy Spirit. Therein is the teacher from our new birth, and it is good to build one another up in the Spirit.
God bless you
