Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

The doctrine of the Father!

The Scripture says;
I Cor. 8:6 For us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live.
Eph.4:6, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
He is the Father of all creation.
Isaiah 43:10, So that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed nor will there be one after me.
Isaiah 44:6, I am the first and the last; apart from me there is no God.
Again He says, Rev. 1:8, I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God who is, and who was, and who is to come the Almighty. (17 and 18 ) Don't be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!

John 14:7, Jesus said! If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. (Verse 9) Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time?
Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, show us the Father?
Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me?

Concerning Jesus, Isaiah rightly said! He will be called, everlasting Father. Isa. 9:6

Now, I have spoken to you plainly about the Father, and not figuratively. John 16:25

Questions to ask yourself;
Who is your Father who is in heaven?
Which Father do you worship?
Which Father do you claim to be yours?

Yes PB it is Jesus!
It always troubles me, when I ask the church leaders who their heavenly Father is? They always say ‘Jehovah or Yahweh’; sometimes they say ‘I am’, but never Jesus.

They are supposed to know these things, yet they testify to another god, person, or Father.

Everyone;
Did you know, if you don’t know the Father, you don’t know God! John 8:19
Because somebody in your church preaches ‘God’, that does not mean that he knows God! All Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Baptists, and Pentecostals etc. they all preach ‘God’!
The question is which one?

If all the Israelites departed from the Lord and played the harlot, what makes you think that you have not added someone else to the Lord your God?

Do you believe in Jesus and in someone else, like Jehovah?
Jesus said! Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Matt. 10:32
What does that mean to you?
